HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A former Hopkinsville Excessive Faculty band director pleaded not responsible to rape fees Wednesday after he was accused of abusing his place of authority to have intercourse with an underage scholar. His spouse, a former assistant commonwealth’s legal professional pleaded not responsible to witness tampering.
Jordan Seth Peveler and his spouse Hannah Peveler had been arraigned in Christian Circuit Court docket.
The previous band director is charged with 9 felonies involving rape, sodomy and an illegal transaction with a minor.
A warrant states Peveler supplied marijuana to a 16-year-old scholar at his dwelling in June 2017.
