Hospital workers ‘off their faces’ after grandfather unwittingly offers them cannabis-laced cake


A grandfather unwittingly gave hospital workers a cake laced with cannabis as a thanks for his or her care.

The pensioner took the cake into Warrington Hospital in Cheshire as a present after it was leftover from his grandson’s 18th birthday.

However what the well-meaning man didn’t realise was that the home made deal with, generally known as a “house cake”, was filled with the category B drug.
