Who are Koi CBD

In 2015, Koi CBD were born in Florida, and in the space of four short years, they have bloomed into one of the hemp-derived CBD’s industry’s biggest names. Above all else, Koi CBD cares about quality and transparency.

The United States essentially legalized CBD in 2014, with the Agricultural Act of 2014 (Farm Bill). But many onlookers considered the CBD market’s early days as a modern Wild West. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) didn’t – and still doesn’t – regulate CBD products. Back then, a few grifters and opportunists were ripping off customers with fake or low-quality CBD.

Koi CBD realized this needed to change. Their ethos was to give people an unclouded look at how their products were made – this included detailing how their hemp is cultivated, how the hemp extract is taken, and exactly what ingredients go into their products.

Third-party lab testing

Koi CBD does this for every single batch they make, a key step that has helped to standardize quality and give customers assurances. The company makes the third-party lab reports for all their products available online and for free.

Florida’s Green Scientific Labs conduct the tests for Koi CBD’s products, clarifying cannabinoid and terpene concentrations. They also check for any pesticides, microbes, residual solvents, mycotoxins, heavy metals and dangerous vitamin E acetate. As expected, Koi CBD’s products always get a clean bill of health, have the stated amount of CBD, and never contain more than the maximum permitted 0.3% THC.

What is CBD?

how to use cbd oilWhen the US legalized hemp, few people expected this would set the stage for a multi-million dollar CBD industry. But with good old American entrepreneurship, that’s precisely what happened!

Lawmakers knew that any hemp legislation would need to restrict the psychoactive THC content, but they didn’t consider any of the plant’s non-intoxicating components. With so few people aware of CBD at the time, there was no need to!

But hemp legalization meant that companies could sell products with as much CBD as they liked, providing the THC limit was not exceeded. Cannabinoid researchers have studied cannabidiol ( CBD) for decades. Indeed, experts isolated both CBD and THC in the early 1960s.

The cannabinoid’s potential therapeutic uses and non-psychoactive nature quickly became apparent. CBD’s benefits then became clearer when researchers identified the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in the early 1990s.

Clinical research is still lagging, hence why CBD is rarely found in pharmaceutical drugs, and why it’s not prescribed as a mainstream treatment. But Koi CBD and other brands are able to legally sell CBD products as dietary supplements.

Studies show that CBD has anti-inflammatory value, anti-anxiety and antidepressant qualities, pain-killing potential and non-addictive traits. CBD – and other cannabinoids – are also antioxidants. The cannabinoid also regulates ECS activity, which could be key to treating and preventing several mental and physical conditions.

What are terpenes?

Many Koi CBD products also contain terpenes. These are different to cannabinoids, and are certainly not exclusive to hemp. Terpenes have a strong aroma, however, and are behind the smell of hemp, cannabis, conifers and any other plants they adorn.

Terpenes have plenty of health benefits, too. A quick look at a Koi Naturals Tincture Oil lab report shows the presence of limonene, alpha-pinene and caryophyllene.

Limonene: a popular natural flavoring that may have weight loss benefits and help with bronchitis.

Alpha-pinene: studies show this terpene may improve concentration, help with memory retention and combat oily skin.

Caryophyllene: this calming terpene is also found in black pepper, and has notable anxiolytic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Terpenes don’t rival CBD for effects, but they have an exciting complementary role in many full-spectrum CBD products. And Koi CBD have picked up on this.

What is full-spectrum CBD?

‘Full-spectrum CBD’ is the term that describes products made with the full hemp extracts. This applies to several Koi CBD products, including their tincture oils and soft chews for dogs. A full-spectrum product has more CBD than any other compound, but also contains other non-intoxicating cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids.

Many researchers consider full-spectrum CBD more effective than mere CBD-isolate. They point to evidence showing these extracts deliver an ‘entourage effect’. This synergistic reaction potentially makes CBD more therapeutic than when consumed individually.

Clinical research for these claims is still lacking, however. But we know that terpenes and flavonoids are beneficial, so having them in hemp-based CBD products is a plus in itself, even if there isn’t an additional positive reaction.

Where does Koi CBD’s hemp come from?

In the past, Koi CBD sourced their hemp from farms in San Luis Valley and Rio Grande County, Colorado. As of October 2019, all hemp is grown from “a single farm in Colorado.” This helps ensure that every batch of CBD is consistent and meets their very high standards.

Furthermore, Koi CBD confirms that the ingredients used in their products are sourced via a “strict vendor qualification process, with all hemp sourced from the United States. This is a key distinguisher, as some brands import industrial hemp from the European Union.

Colorado is in many ways the home of CBD. The Stanley Brothers, who were the masterminds behind the now ever-present CBD-rich, low-THC form of hemp, are from and based in Colorado, and made all their big discoveries in the state.

How is Koi CBD extracted?

Koi CBD only uses the supercritical CO2 extraction method, according to their site. Nowadays, we expect this “gold standard” extraction from all major brands, and not just because it’s a cut above solvent-based extraction. But what makes supercritical CO2 extraction so much better than the alternatives?

Firstly, it’s important to know why CBD brands need such a high-tech and flawless extraction process. In the past, solvent extraction – with substances like hexane and butane – was the preferred way of taking hemp and cannabis extracts.

Solvent extraction is cheap, but is volatile and poses a health risk to the person making the extract due to extended exposure. In addition, the end result is often a degraded product, with lost cannabinoids due to burning during extraction.

Maximum purity with CBD products is so essential because hemp is a bioaccumulator. When the plant is growing, it’s literally picking up harmful byproducts – like heavy metals and toxins – from the ground.

This is an awesome quality for farming, as bioaccumulators naturally tackle pollution and cleanse the soil. But it’s not so good if you want to use hemp for human consumption. And that’s where supercritical CO2 extraction comes in.

How does supercritical CO2 extraction work?

In a nutshell, this process pulls cannabinoids and terpenes from the hemp and into an extract, which is then used to make hemp-based products. First, the extractor reduces the temperature of carbon dioxide (CO2) to -70°F, turning it into liquid form as pressure is increased.

When reheated, the CO2 moves into a supercritical state, where it remains dense like a liquid, but fills an area as if it were a gas. This supercritical CO2 is then pumped into the chamber with the raw, CBD-rich hemp material, so the plant’s active compounds can be siphoned off.

Supercritical CO2 extraction is fantastic for cannabinoid science, as it allows individual cannabinoids and terpenes to be isolated from the plant. Researchers can then study the effects of CBD and other compounds separately, to get a better idea of how they work. This will be helpful for decades to come, as scientists have more than 100 cannabinoids to study!

Does Koi CBD contain THC?

No. Koi CBD goes the extra mile to ensure that THC is not detected – even in small amounts – in their full-spectrum products. Federal law permits up to 0.3 percent THC in hemp-based products. Many companies make the most of this limit with their whole-plant products.

However, just a small percentage of THC can accumulate in the body with sustained and heavy use. xIt takes weeks for the body to fully flush THC molecules out of the system. This gradual buildup creates a low risk of failing a drugs test.

Koi CBD states their products do not have “any detectable amounts of THC”, when tested at 10 parts per million (ppm). This assurance means users can take any Koi CBD product with confidence.

Does Koi CBD get you high?

No. Koi CBD products are non-intoxicating and non-psychoactive. THC is the primary psychotropic ingredient in marijuana and hemp, and is responsible for the unusual mind-altering effects that temporarily inhibit cognition and motor control.

THC has this effect by binding with CB1 receptors in the ECS. CBD and THC are both cannabinoids, and have key influence in this system. However, CBD’s impact on CB1 receptors couldn’t be more different from THC’s.

CBD effectively blocks activity at CB1 receptors in the brain. This interaction actually has an anti-psychoactive effects. It’s the reason why recreational cannabis growers don’t just try to boost THC content in their strains, but minimize CBD concentrations.

CBD’s action at the CB1 receptor is also subject to anti-psychotic research. Studies have hinted at CBD having potential as therapeutic for psychosis and schizophrenia.

Is Koi CBD good for anxiety?

Koi CBD products are technically dietary supplements, and are not marketed as medicines. The FDA has neither researched nor approved CBD-based treatments for anxiety. However, that doesn’t mean to say CBD can’t have a positive effect on anxiety.

The main reason CBD isn’t recognized as an anxiety treatment is an absence of clinical research. Every new drug must go through a series of clinical trials before it finally becomes approved. This has only happened once so far with CBD, for an anti-epileptic drug.

Small studies on CBD’s anti-anxiety properties are very exciting. A 2011 Italian study looking at CBD for social anxiety tends to get the most attention, and rightly so. Scientists successfully showed in a placebo-controlled trial that CBD helps improve public speaking performances, in a simulated setting.

It’s not fully understood why CBD has this effect. Many users are taking CBD for anxiety already, commenting that it calms them down, and stops their thoughts racing. Surveys on CBD usage consistently put CBD high up the list for taking products like Koi CBD

The official answer on whether Koi CBD products work for anxiety is that it’s unclear. However, judging on user experiences and the research available, and the safety of CBD products, lots of people are happy to try tincture oils, e-liquids and edibles, with many enjoying excellent results.

Introducing CBD oil

CBD oil is perhaps the best-known and most appreciated form of CBD available. The arrival of tincture oils marked a new dawn for cannabis and hemp-based products. It showed that people could enjoy the potential benefits of cannabinoids, without having to smoke them, vape them or take them in a pot brownie. Tincture oils are more like any other type of medicine, a crucial quality which has been key to widening CBD’s appeal.

The ingredient list in CBD oil products is typically short and sweet. A CBD-isolate or full-spectrum extract is diluted with a carrier oil, and possibly mixed with artificial or natural flavorings.

Vegetable glycerin is a commonly-used carrier oil. But increasingly, brands are turning to fractionated coconut oil and medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil. MCT fatty acids are effective at getting more CBD into the bloodstream, and therefore increasing an extract’s therapeutic value.

How to use CBD oil

Sublingual absorption is the primary method of delivery for CBD oil products. This is more efficient than straight oral consumption, as CBD passes more immediately into the bloodstream via the sublingual glands, and doesn’t need to be digested.

Sublingual absorption involves administering CBD oil under the tongue, and then holding it for 1 to 2 minutes to maximize the effects. Take CBD oil using the dropper provided, as this gives full control over dosage. Sublingually-absorbed oil generally kicks in within minutes, so upping the dose if necessary is always a possibility.

The speedy effects of CBD oil are not only for convenience, but crucial for getting the most from many of CBD’s properties. Consider somebody taking CBD for anxiety. Symptoms are not always present, but tend to be very intense. A fast-acting oil is better at suppressing these symptoms than a slow-acting product which may take an hour or more to fully activate.

Other ways of taking CBD oil

CBD oil is certainly versatile, and you shouldn’t feel compelled to always use sublingual absorption. Direct oral consumption may result in a slower activation time, but the steadier flow of cannabinoids into the bloodstream means the effects last longer. Some people add CBD oil to their water, or even their coffee or tea. CBD oil also works as a food ingredient. Just keep cooking temperatures under 270°F, or there’s a risk of burning off the cannabinoids.

Topical application is not an efficient use of CBD oil – there’s a reason why companies manufacture infused balms, creams and salves. But it’s helpful knowing that tincture oils work this way if you’re stuck in a jam. Perhaps you have arthritis and need a little relief in the fingers, or maybe you’re experiencing lower back pain. CBD also has antifungal and antibacterial effects, which may be beneficial for nasty cuts. Rubbing in a little bit of Koi CBD oil could make all the difference.

Can Koi CBD oil be vaped?

No, you should never vape Koi CBD oil. Ingredients in Koi Naturals Tinctures are intended for oral human consumption, and not for inhalation. Vaping tincture oils could have unintended health consequences. Furthermore, even if a CBD oil product didn’t have any vaping risks, it could damage your vaporizer, which is designed only for use with e-liquids.

The confusion over whether CBD oil can be vaporized comes from the fact that vape juices often can be taken in both ways. Several CBD brands advertise that their e-liquids work when taken under the tongue, and that it’s a stealthy alternative to vaping, or simply just a healthier one. If in doubt about how your CBD product can be used, always check the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Introducing CBD vape juice

Vape juices are the most popular and sought-after Koi CBD products that we stock. But just why do people want to vape their CBD anyway?

Let’s start with the health benefits. Cannabis and hemp users of days gone by would have found it easier to smoke their herb than anything else. CBD’s effects sure kick in quickly when smoked, but the exposure to carcinogens and toxins more than levels out the pros and cons. Simply put, vaporizing eliminates burning from the process, and exposure to these harmful, and cancer-causing chemicals.

In terms of effects, there’s no payoff for vaping CBD instead of smoking it. The cannabinoids enter the body in the same way, passing through the lungs, before being absorbed into the bloodstream. Cannabinoids then disperse all over the body.

Some bind to CB2 receptors for anti-inflammatory purposes, others pass through the blood-brain barrier to link up with CB1 receptors, and regulate pain, mood, appetite and even cognition. CBD’s influence doesn’t stop with cannabinoid receptors, but these are the key interactions.

If anything, vaping is more efficient as a consumption method than smoking. When lighting a CBD joint, plant material – and inevitably cannabinoids – burn off, and are lost forever. This doesn’t happen when vaping e-liquids.

How to use CBD vape juice

Using e-liquids is as simple or complex as you want to make it. Most people will pick a CBD-infused e-juice with their preferred flavor, fill up their vape tank and enjoy! And this is certainly the easiest way to get CBD’s benefits.

But some passionate vapers like mixing multiple e-liquids, perhaps to get the advantages of two substances (e.g. CBD and nicotine), or maybe just for a better flavor. In which case, it’s often best to go for a flavorless vape additive, such as the White Koi CBD Vape Juice. This pairs well with any e-liquid.

Adding CBD concentrates to vape juices is another option, either to supplement an e-liquid with CBD, or enhance the overall CBD content. Isolate powders dissolve nicely into e-liquids, and allow you to vape as normal, while getting extra relief as and when you need it.

Introducing CBD gummies

CBD gummies are a type of CBD edibles. The same gummy bears, ocean gummies, watermelon slices, gummy worms and rainbow bites that you have eaten and enjoyed for years are now available in CBD-infused form, thanks to brands like Koi CBD.

Infused gummies have a number of benefits over other CBD products. Firstly, CBD edibles last for longer than vape juices and tincture oils. Secondly, gummies are undetectable from normal gummies, so it’s really easy to dose up in public spaces. CBD gummies do not have a strong aroma, and are usually sold in resealable packs or smell-proof tubs. And thirdly, every CBD gummy in a pack has the same amount of CBD – you can get the dose you want in one go, right down to the milligram.

Introducing CBD dog treats

CBD pet products could be just what your furry friend needs to enhance their mental and physical well-being. Just as with humans, the endocannabinoid system has been neglected in pets, since we didn’t know of its existence until the late 20th century.

That’s beginning to change. Experts are studying CBD and hemp’s effects in animals more closely than ever. A range of veterinarian-formulated products have popped up since hemp legalization, and many pet owners are getting fantastic results.

CBD appeals as a natural and non-addictive pain-killer, mostly as an alternative to opioid meds. CBD may also be better than existing drugs for tackling inflammation, which is responsible for arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and ulcerative colitis. Hemp-based Koi CBD products could also be good for pet anxiety and stress, and general lethargy.

Is Koi CBD safe for dogs and cats?

Koi CBD products made for pets – namely their soft chews and pet spray – is completely safe for your dogs and cats. Every ingredient featured in these products has been added with pets in mind. As their bodies are smaller and more sensitive than ours, dosages have to be adjusted, and it may not be safe to include ingredients that are found in products intended for humans.

On this theme, it’s so important that you never give regular Koi CBD Oil or any other standard CBD product made for humans to your four-legged friends. These products are not made with pets in mind, and could contain ingredients that are harmless for you, but dangerous for your cat or dog.

THC is one such substance. In regular CBD products, there may be up to 0.3 percent THC. Even though THC is potent and psychoactive, such a low level is not enough to adversely affect humans. But even this small quantity may be dangerous for pets.

It’s much safer to just play it safe, and look after your canine or feline companion’s health, by only giving them products from Koi CBD’s pet selection.

Koi CBD Oil

koi naturals cbd oilEach product in the Koi Naturals tincture collection contains a full-spectrum PRIZM blend. This differs from the majority of full-spectrum extracts – but in a good way!

Most CBD products with these extracts have a tiny concentration of THC, but enough for there to be a small threat of a failed test. This isn’t so with Koi Naturals tinctures – tests at 10ppm do not turn up any THC whatsoever.

The upshot is you can comfortably enjoy CBD, and all the other cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes without the risk of a nasty surprise! Koi CBD Oil is sold in 30ml bottles, and includes coconut oil, but no artificial flavorings

Koi tinctures are available in three strengths (250mg, 500mg and 1000mg), with a full dropper administering 8.3mg, 16.7mg and 33.3mg per respective dose. Every oil is organic, pesticide-free, solvent-free and vegan-friendly.

We have an unflavored oil, and also ‘Spearmint’, ‘Orange’ and ‘Lemon-Line’ tinctures if you find that natural hemp leaves a bad taste in the mouth!

250mg

This is a good initial strength if you haven’t used Koi CBD products before. An 8.3mg serving is just right for exploring CBD’s stimulating effects. Research shows that CBD is more effective at enhancing concentration when taken in lower doses – this is thanks to the cannabinoid’s biphasic properties.

CBD is much preferable for improving focus and alertness to caffeine and nicotine, as both of these compounds are addictive and littered with side effects. The Koi CBD 250mg oil is a product you can feel comfortable about taking for the long-term, knowing that the effects are safe, and that you aren’t going to become dependent.

500mg

Moving up to the 500mg Koi CBD Oil and a 16.7mg serving is a logical step if you find the lower strength isn’t delivering quite enough relief. The stronger dose brings out more of CBD’s sedative properties, which may help with tackling anxiety, stress, pain and inflammation.

A lot of people take a daily dose of CBD purely for supplemental purposes. The 500mg oil is a good, mid-range option if you don’t want to feel too stimulated nor too sleepy from your CBD use. Supplementing the endocannabinoid system carries several health benefits, from modulating the immune system to boosting cognitive function.

1000mg

The 1000mg tincture oil is the highest strength in our Koi CBD collection – a full dropper delivers a hefty 33.3mg dose. This stronger amount is best if you have severe symptoms that would really benefit from potent, sedative relief. The 1000mg oil will likely be most beneficial towards the end of the day, when you have a chance to relax physically and mentally.

Some may find that high-dose servings make them a little sleepy, although this may actually help with the likes of insomnia. The great aspect with CBD, as opposed to certain treatments, is that you can easily take more, without putting yourself at risk of long-term side effects or dependency.

Koi CBD Vape Juice

Koi CBD Vape Juice is 100% THC-free and made with a CBD-isolate extract, and not the brand’s full-spectrum PRIZM blend. This e-liquid comes in a 30ml bottle, and is available in four strengths (100mg, 250mg, 500mg and 1000mg), providing servings of 3.3mg, 6.6mg, 16.7mg and 33.3mg. Koi CBD uses a typical propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin combo for their carrier oil, and a smattering of natural and artificial flavorings.

The brand mentions that their e-liquids can be vaped or enjoyed sublingually. Any e-liquid-compatible vaporizer is just fine or using with Koi CBD vape juices. Whether vaping or taking this product under the tongue, wait for around three hours after the first dose, before having a second. Koi CBD advises taking a full dropper between 1 to 3 times a day, although stresses that you can use their vape juices “as needed.”

This e-liquid should be stored in a cool and dry location, away from direct sunlight, as this could adversely affect quality. Koi CBD recommends consulting a physician if you’re already taking pharmaceutical medication but want to use their vape juices. Koi CBD e-liquid should not be used when pregnant or lactating.

White

This is Koi CBD’s flavorless vape additive. White Koi pairs well with any regular e-liquid, and has a neutral taste. There is perhaps a slight sweetness to this e-liquid, because Koi have used vegetable glycerin as part of the carrier oil. But this doesn’t dominate the vape juice by any means, so you can easily add this product to other e-liquids without changing the flavor.

It’s perhaps impossible to make an e-liquid that is 100% flavorless – but Koi CBD has got as close as possible with their White vape juice. This product is pure, with an inoffensive taste. There’s no hempy aftertaste as you get with some e-liquids. If you’re looking for a reliable vape additive that can be vaped solo or as part of a mix, you’ve found it in White Koi.

Red

Brighten up your day with a fruity, yet dessert-themed blast of Strawberry Milkshake, with Red Koi. This is one of the first Koi CBD e-liquids that ever came to market, and it’s stood the test of time. The strawberry cream flavor is light, and ideal for long vape sessions. Not to mention, the aftertaste couldn’t be more pleasant.

Red Koi is the perfect CBD e-liquid for vapers who enjoy fruity hits, but don’t want an overpowering flavor. The cream complements the strawberry beautifully, and the vegetable glycerin helps to naturally sweeten the mix. This vape juice will go down a treat, whether it’s morning, noon or night.

Gold

Custard fans will be all over the Gold e-liquid from Koi CBD. Many brands try to master the custard and vanilla, dessert-style flavor, but very few manage to pull it off. Such vape juices are either too sickly or not strong enough, and it’s rare a manufacturer finds the sweet spot.

But Koi have done just that. Custard and vanilla dominates the flavor, but this complex e-liquid also has a dash of caramel, which goes well with the creamy taste. This is the sort of vape juice you could chill with after a meal, or at the end of the long day.

Jade

Jade Koi strikes a much different flavor than Red and Gold Koi, and is sure to leave a sour taste in the mouth. Fresh watermelon and sour green apple combine to dominate the flavor. Jade Koi is the perfect vape juice if you like sour candies, although it’s certainly an acquired taste.

If anything, the watermelon stops the soury notes from being excessively potent, which works in its favor. Want a candy-themed e-juice, with hints of sourness and fruitiness? Then Jade Koi CBD Vape Juice is the right product for you.

Blue

Raspberry and dragonfruit are the two primary flavorings in Blue Koi, a sweet and candy-themed e-liquid. Dragonfruit is an unusual ingredient and makes for a delightful, rich and exotic taste. Blue Koi is not as tangy as Jade Koi, but definitely has more fruitiness to it than Red Koi.

This is a unique and innovative e-liquid, as few brands would think to mix raspberry and dragonfruit. It’s a sign that Koi CBD have put their best brains together to come up with fantastic e-liquid flavors that vapers can enjoy again and again. Not all left-field flavor ideas work, but we definitely think Blue Koi is a winner.

Tropical Popsicle

Tropical Popsicle boasts a complex profile of exotic fruits. A few hits of this gorgeous e-liquid and you’ll feel like you’re relaxing on a white, sandy beach, looking out at the clear, blue ocean, somewhere in the Caribbean. Okay, maybe that’s exaggerating a little, but with Tropical Popsicle, when you close your eyes you’ll be able to pretend you’re there!

This e-liquid is sweet, fruity and relentlessly refreshing. The blast of flavor will help set your day off right, or break you out of a mid-afternoon slump. Tropical Popsicle works well whether you just want one or two hits to enhance your concentration, or if you have time to sit back and enjoy an extended vape session.

Best wattage for Koi CBD

According to Koi CBD, their e-liquids have the same consistency to that of other leading brands. The propylene glycol and food-grade vegetable glycerin carrier oil combination used by Koi CBD is found in many other vape juice products.

Therefore, Koi CBD doesn’t recommend any special wattage settings when vaping their e-liquids. However, they do suggest that you don’t go above 320°F – at this temperature, you risk burning the vape juice and losing the cannabinoids.

Koi CBD Variety Pack

The variety pack is an awesome way to save on Koi CBD, and experience their entire range for less. Variety packs include all six Koi CBD Vape Juices in any strength that you like.

This product is really recommended for seasoned CBD vapers who plan on taking CBD for a long period of time. If CBD e-liquids have become part of your daily routine, it makes sense to stock up with one big purchase, rather than buying each e-liquid individually. Not to mention, you’ll save plenty on shipping costs! The only reason this e-liquid set wouldn’t work for you is if you aren’t keen on some of Koi CBD’s flavors.

Let’s drill down on the savings you could make with a Koi CBD Variety Pack.

How much could you save with a Koi CBD Variety Pack?

Buying any 100mg vape juice separately currently costs $29.99, with six separate purchases costing $179.94. Meanwhile, a variety pack of six 100mg Koi CBD e-liquids comes in at $149.99. That’s nearly $30 less than if you were to buy the vape juices individually!

Each 250mg Koi CBD Vape Juice costs $39.99, adding up to $239.94 when buying each one separately. A variety pack costs just $179.99, bringing the price per e-liquid down to just under $30. That’s a $10 saving per bottle and a $60 saving in all!

Koi CBD’s 500mg e-liquids are $59.99 each, and a pricey $359.94 if bought separately. That cost comes down drastically to $249.99 with a 500mg Koi CBD Variety Pack. That works out to almost a $20 saving per bottle, and a $109.95 saving altogether!

Buying Koi CBD’s 1000mg vape juice separately costs $99.99, and $599.94 if you were to buy one of each. A 1000mg variety pack will save you just under $200, at $399.94. That’s more than $30 less per bottle!

Koi CBD Starter Kit

With one of our starter kits, you can get a quality portable vaporizer that covers all bases, and a nice amount of e-liquid to get you started.

Our Koi Starter Kit comes with a Smok Stick V9 Max, a compact and reliable portable device. It’s also easy to mix e-liquids together in the V9 Max. This vaporizer has a 60W output power and a 2.5-4.1V output voltage.

The starter kit is available with any one of the Koi CBD e-juices in our collection.

Koi CBD Gummies

These gummies are made with a full-spectrum CBD extract, and come in a resealable package to preserve quality. Koi CBD have gone the extra mile when manufacturing these gummies, ensuring they offer consistent and potent effects.

Many brands take a shortcut approach when making CBD-infused gummies, simply spraying hemp extracts onto the treats. But this method falls down because the CBD isn’t evenly spread across the edible, and some gummies may have more CBD than others.

Koi CBD immerses their full-spectrum PRIZM blend into the gummies, rolling it through three times. This way, the CBD is spread through the product, rather than just coating it, providing a more effective experience in the process. Koi CBD Gummies are available in packs of 6 or 20, and in a regular or sour flavor. Each gummy contains 10mg of non-intoxicating hemp extract.

How many Koi CBD gummies should I take?

As each gummy has 10mg of CBD, it’s pretty easy to refine your CBD dosage to an amount that suits you. How many you should take depends on what effects you’re seeking. If you want a low, but gradual supply of CBD to keep you stimulated and alert at work, then a single gummy may do the trick.

But if you’re getting towards the end of the day, and want more potent CBD relief to deal with aches and pains, or stresses and anxieties, then you may want a 50mg dose or more (five gummies). However many gummies you choose to take, don’t make the mistake of consuming another dose before the first has a chance to fully take effect.

This is really common among first-time edible users, who don’t anticipate that it can be up to two hours before the CBD is really felt. Although even if you do have one too many, the worst-case scenario is feeling more drowsy than intended.

If Koi CBD gummies are your first edible experience, recording how you feel mentally and physically after each dose is a great way of familiarizing yourself with the effects. You’ll be able to make an educated guess about how many gummies to take next time, rather than just picking a number and hoping for the best.

Koi CBD Dog Treats

These dog treats have a delicious bacon flavor, so your pet will love getting their CBD! The true-spectrum hemp oil used has cannabinoids, terpenes and an array of other helpful compounds, but no intoxicating THC. Koi CBD Soft Chews are organic, non-GMO and made only with natural ingredients. This formula is well-tolerated, even in pets with sensitive systems.

Koi CBD Spray for Cats and Dogs

Koi Pet tinctureThe Koi CBD pet spray is suitable for felines and canines, and is arguably more versatile than soft chews. This spray contains 500mg of Koi’s unique full-spectrum blend with no THC – the perfect extract to help your pet. Coconut oil is also present in this 60ml pet product.

If you’re lucky, your pet will sit still and be compliant for long enough so you can spray the oil directly into their mouth. This way you know for sure that they’re taking in the CBD and getting its therapeutic benefits.

But anyone with a cat or dog will know that can be a pipe dream! Pets are notorious for shying away from their meds, so you may have more luck spraying it on their food or into their water instead.

Koi CBD suggests adjusting the dose depending on the size of your pet. These guidelines may help:

  • Under 15lbs (small): 1-2 sprays per day
  • 15-40 lbs (medium): 2-3 sprays per day
  • 40-75lbs (large): 3-4 sprays per day
  • 75lbs and above (extra large): 4 or more sprays per day

This is a good starting point. But bear in mind that every situation is different. Some pets may respond better with less or more than the suggested dose, depending on the ailment they are suffering with. Assess how your pet responds and tweak the dosage if necessary. CBD is non-toxic and non-addictive, and well-tolerated in high concentrations, so there is room to manoeuvre.
