RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN)– The North Carolina Job Force for Racial Equity in Lawbreaker Justice launched its list of suggestions for Gov. Roy Cooper to think about, targeted at accomplishing racially reasonable results and increase responsibility of police and criminal justice systems.
Chief Law Officer Josh Stein and Partner Justice Anita Earls, are co-chairs of the job force developed in June 2020, after the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and lots of others at the hands of police officers.
